Tanja GruberWhere do you stand?
I’ve often found myself right at the edge. And sometimes, life gave me that extra little push, and I ended up flat on the ground, deep down in the abyss. So what do you do when you’ve got no idea how to go on?
I probably wouldn’t be alive today if I had stayed down.
Life kept throwing life-threatening challenges my way, and I had to look right at the stuff that hurt. No one goes to their limits voluntarily, you tend to turn back halfway, before things get tough, messy, or painful. But strength, healing, and power lie beyond the pain. It’s only at the end of the slope that the wind shifts and lifts you up, and when you hit rock bottom, there’s only one direction left: up.
Thanks to tons of trainings, books, and my own digging, I learned how to grow and stand up again and again, no mat- ter what. That’s how I found my own inner strength to lead and realized something important: real change always starts within. That’s not something you learn in most leadership seminars, but you can learn it when you face your own shadows down in that inner abyss.
